Stop Copying—Be Yourself!
I’m sure you’ve never heard this concept before!
But theory is one thing, and practice is another.
It is one thing to admire the hard work of another and emulate the tactics or formula they used to achieve the success you seek.
But to rip people off or try to do what they do… anyone awake will see what you are doing and shake their heads. Annoyed if the person you are copying is THEM.
Particularly I’ve seen this in the yoga community.
Someone does something cool and quickly twenty other teachers are doing the same thing.
Neat.
We are all more alike than different, so this shouldn’t be THAT shocking that we’d want to be like someone we admire and has reached a level of success we resepct, but genuinely: your power comes from being who YOU are.
And as much as we are vastly similar and alike, we all know our power comes from owning who WE are, which is awesome, no matter how imperfect we may perceive ourselves to be.
How to be yourself? KNOW YOURSELF.
How to know yourself? BEFRIEND YOURSELF.

1) Be yourself. What's more unappealing than speaking in a stale voice, copying another person's success and becoming a cooke cutter clone of another? Be YOURSELF.
